Opportunities for Startups
Founders, rejoice! Reality Hack is the place for creators and companies to connect.
Q: Does my product need to be hacking-enabled?
A: Not at all! We offer these two ways for startups to gain value from our January event:
Startup-in-Residence
Where You’ll Be:
EXPERIENTIAL Conference Main Program
January 25, 2025 @ MIT Samberg (9-1pm) + Total access to evening conference events (keynote, dinner, and reception)
AND
MIT Reality Hack
January 23-27, 2025 @ MIT (multiple locations) Total access to the energy and camaraderie of the Hack including networking events and our infamous Closing Party.
Fee: $3,000
Apply to be a Startup-in-Residence:
Present your company + product before an influential audience of media and executive stakeholders.
You will get: A 30-minute session slot as part of the main program at Reality Hack’s EXPERIENTIAL Innovation Conference (presentation, demo, press Q+A), a company feature page in the EXPERIENTIAL conference booklet, and Full Day conference badges for up to (2) members of your team. When: 1/25/25

Share your experience and provide valuable mentorship to hackathon teams, including those in the Founders’ Lab (and as your schedule allows) during MIT Reality Hack.
Be aware: This level is recommended for highly compelling startups presenting cutting edge technology in the areas of extended reality and deep tech.
Startup-in-Residence applications and company histories will be validated by organizers prior to being invoiced. All sponsorships are subject to requiring special approval from the MIT Office of General Counsel.
Where You’ll Be:
EXPERIENTIAL Official Conference Reception

Rising Star

Exhibit your company and invite attendees to demo your product at the official evening event for the EXPERIENTIAL Innovation Conference.
You will get: a demo table at the MIT Museum gallery floor, a company page in the EXPERIENTIAL conference booklet, and admission for up to (3) members of your team.
Be aware: These tables are highly limited. Rising Star applications will be reviewed and selected by the Startup Hack Investor Advisory Panel with final approval from the organizers.
All proceeds directly support operating expenses for these volunteer-run events, including MIT Reality Hack (which enfolds the Founders’ Lab and the Hardware Hack) and the EXPERIENTIAL Innovation Conference.
You are not only supporting the experiential technology ecosystem, but you are helping us to keep participation in MIT Reality Hack free for hackers from all backgrounds.
